Loving Me (cont’d)
Another aspect of Loving Me is that I share ME with YOU! And my views on how I do that & with whom have changed as I have spiritually matured a bit.
For many years, I sought love by seeking YOUR (whoever YOU are) approval. I would tell you what I thought you wanted to hear & I was usually not very selective about who YOU were. If I had your attention, I wanted you to love me.
Today, I still need love & I need my voice to be heard in the world. But I feel I am more discerning about when & with whom I share myself. I now take more time getting to know you, because I have taken time getting to know myself. I have an intuitive sense for when I am in a safe & sacred environment & can share candidly, because I have created a safe & sacred environment within my own being.
I am very grateful to people like Matt & Charlotte, who provide safe & sacred environments like this. And it is my prayer that this space blossom to allow many others to share their innermost being-ness.
